Krabi, Thailand

My family took a trip to Krabi during CNY. Located at the west coast of southern Thailand and close to Phuket island, Krabi is famous for the beautiful islands,  beaches and clear waters. Of course, look inland and there are pristine forests, caves, waterfalls, etc. Whether land or sea, there will be something that suits everyone to enjoy the relaxing and fun environment.

I did not have enough time on the islands for photo taking as the boat only allowed us half an hour sight seeing on the four islands I visited. Perhaps next time I’ll come again and stay longer for better scenes.

[Landscape] Star trail & Lightning

I like the night sky. More so when the stars are clear to see and lightning spark up in the distance. Here are some of results shooting from my balcony into the night sky.

A simple stars trail. I took this in continuous 30s exposures and combined them.


Lightning flashed behind clouds.


The clouds illuminated by lightning, creating a scene of layered lighting in the dark of the night.


A bolt of lightning branched off as it jumped from cloud to cloud.

Wedding – Kenny & Chen Ning

19. One of the games involved the guys (groom included) experiencing the pain of hair removal by sticking paper – it seems our benign Chen Ning wanted her husband to know how woman feel too…


20. Kenny and Christopher Choong of JAC Photography. Chris suffered a 2nd degree burn on his right hand later that day due to careless opening of boiling hot car radiator. It put him out of action for some time, I can only wish for his speedy recovery.
